Now the full ROM of Samsung Galaxy SIII is available for download here at XDA forums. Though this ROM can not be installed on any other phone, the Developers have started to extract individual components from the ROM to make them work on other Android Devices.

Even though ICS upgrades for many devices are rolling out slowly, but most users are still waiting and users of most old devices wont get a official ICS upgrade.

If you have ever owned a iOS device like iPhone or iPad, you must be aware of Flipboard which is the best social magzine app available on mobile devices and has won titles like App of the year on Apple Appstore. Until now Flipboard was only available for Apple iOS devices and it was still in development for Android devices. With the release of Samsung Galaxy S3, Flipboard was touted to be available exclusively on Galaxy S3 at the moment.

But a XDA forum member Valcho has been able to get his hands on a Samsung Galaxy S3 and successfully extracted .APK using AirDroid. The APK file is now available for download. You can just download the APK file on your Android phone and install it on your phone. I was able to install it on my LG P500 which is a ARM6 device which is usually considered a low end device. This means that the APK can be installed on almost every Android device, though there is no official word about it.

Few weeks back, we started covering Ice Cream Sandwich ICS port for LG P500 and we talked about how to install the Custom ICS ROM. The ICS  ROM started with a Alpha version with many bugs and other issues. At the moment of writing this post, the Custom ICS ROM based on Cyanogenmod 9 has reached almost a working version and can be used as a daily ROM by anyone. One of the biggest issues with the ROM was non-working Camera and issues with videos. But finally, thanks to efforts of developers like hephappy , _Arjen_ & lupohirp, we now have almost a completely working ROM for LG P500 with ICS 4.0.4.

Samsung Galaxy S I9000 was one of the earliest high end Android Smartphone from Samsung which came with Android v2.2 (Froyo) OS , 4-inch Super AMOLED Touchscreen, Samsung’s TouchWiz 3.0 UI skinning and 5 MP Primary Camera. Officially, Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade for  Samsung Galaxy S I9000 is not available now or in future. Thanks to CyanogenMod team, you can install the CyanogenMod ( or CM 9 on your phone which is based on Ice Cream Sandwich ICS.

Few days back we talked about how to install Ice Cream Sandwich ICS 4.0.3 based on CyanogenMod CM 9 on LG Optimus P500. Today we will talk about how to install AOSP Ice Cream Sandwich ICS 4.0.3 on LG Optimus P500. For those who are unaware of what AOSP is, basically AOSP refers to Android Open Source Project. The ROM which we will be covering today is an AOSP ROM which basically is the default ICS version without any modifications unlike the CyanogenMod ROMs.

This AOSP Ice Cream Sandwich ICS ROM is developed by RockR172  at XDA forum. He has released Beta 1 version of the ROM and its not ready for daily use. Unless you really want to test it, you should avoiding installing or flashing it on your smartphone.

Google made a brief announcement using its Android on Google+ account that they have started rolling out Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich to Nexus S 4G devices. These devices include Samsung Galaxy Nexus (GSM), Nexus S, and the Motorola Xoom WiFi. Looks like CDMA users of Galaxy Nexus need to wait more.
