Coolpad has launched a new phablet, called the Coolpad Note 5 in India. It seems like the Chinese OEM, has pulled a Samsung, and skipped a number, jumping straight from the Coolpad Note 3 to the Coolpad Note 5.
Androidpure was at the launch event in Delhi, and here’s what the device’s hardware comprises of.
The Coolpad Note 5 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display with 401 PPI, 78% screen to body ratio, and runs on Cool 8 UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device supports Dual Apps (for running two instances of the same app), and Multiscreen for Multi Window. The phone is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 405 GPU. The device has 32GB of internal storage, and supports upto 64GB of expandable memory via a microSD card slot, and USB OTG (On The GO).
The Note 5 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, Auto Focus, 5P Lens, f/2.2 aperture and an 8 megapixel front camera, with front facing LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, 80° FOV for wide angle selfies. The device houses a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. The phone is backed by a 4010mAh battery. The phone will be available in two colours: Royal Gold and Space Gray
