We found a few more leaked photos of cases for Samsung’s upcoming flagship, after our previous report. And the new pictures confirm that the Galaxy Note 9 headphone jack is real.
The photo you see here, outlines all the ports that the Note 9 has. The phone has a USB charging port along with a microphone and a 3.5mm audio jack. It is nice to see Samsung stick with the headphone jack, despite the phone featuring a USB Type-C connector.
Anyway, if you notice closely, the image which has dotted lines pointing towards the cut out, also displays the phone itself. The cutouts in the case line up with the ports, and this confirms the presence of the Galaxy Note 9 headphone jack.
But that’s not all. The Note 9 will have a dedicated Bixby button too. Some people like it, some don’t. We’ll leave the judgement to you.
Did you also notice that an important port has not been highlighted in the picture, the S-Pen’s port. Really, how did the case manufacturer forget the most important feature of the Note?
Aside from the Galaxy Note 9 headphone jack and Bixby button, we can also see the overall design of the phone. And, it is nothing that we haven’t seen before. It was only a couple of days ago, that we reported that the official Note 9 colours had been leaked, in some press renders.
The new leaked pictures do confirm what we have reported previously, including the horizontally aligned dual cameras with an LED Flash, a heart-rate sensor, and a rectangular fingerprint sensor. One of the images featured here, shows the USB Type-C charging cable for the Note 9.
Samsung will announce the Note 9 on August 9th in New York. So, we only have to wait for about 2 weeks to see if the Galaxy Note 9 headphone jack is real.
