Google is releasing today a new redesigned Play store for Android phones and tablets. The redesigned Play Store is simpler, cleaner and has been built keeping in mind to help users in quickly discovering Content like entertainment and other stuff.

Google Play Store

The new Playstore is faster and focuses on bigger images and themed similar content categorized just like the Magzines helping users discovering and navigating great content easier. Apart from these changes, the new app also brings  simplified purchasing easing out the checkout process.

If you take a closer look at the new Playstore, the design looks similar to Flipboard and Pinterest, but hopefully its better and will help users grab great content and apps easily.

The update has started to roll out today for Android phones and tablets running Android 2.2 (Froyo) and above. Check your device and see if you got the update. If not, you will be receiving it the next few weeks.
