HTC launched their last flagship device i.e. HTC 10 in May 2016 which failed to alter HTC fortunes in spite of getting some great reviews. The next variant of the flagship device i.e. HTC 11 (nothing official about the name though) is already in works in spite of rumors indicating its demise after the launch of HTC Ultra. A rumor few months back suggested that HTC 11 may come with 5.5 inch QHD curved display along with a main rear camera of 12 MP and a front shooter of 8 MP.
Today, a new leak has popped up, originating on Weibo which gives us a sneak peek into major specifications of the upcoming HTC 11. The leak comes in the form of screenshot of “About Phone” of HTC 11. The leak indicates that the upcoming flagship device from HTC is indeed named as “HTC 11”. The device runs on HTC Sense 9.0 based on Android 7.12 (Nougat) operating system with Android security updates till January 2017.
As per this leak, HTC 11 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 MSM8998Pro processor along with 6 GB of RAM. It comes with 128 GB of internal storage out of which 112 GB is available to the end-user. The leak also indicates an odd resolution of the display i.e. 1556 x 2550 pixels, which is quite odd as the nearest standard display is 2K display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The odd resolution indicates a different aspect ratio of HTC 11.
At the moment, Company is yet to reveal any information on their upcoming flagship device or any possible launch date or even the name of the device. The about screen though looks too odd, and may be Fake. As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
