We are just few days away from Huawei Mate 9 official launch on November 3 , yet rumors keep floating revealing something about the device. Some rumors suggested two Mate 9 flagship variants to be launched i.e. one with the flat surface and other with curved edge display. Then we heard rumors that only the flat display variant will be launched on November 3. We already have seen the alleged official Renders and some real images of Huawei Mate 9 Pro that got leaked showing the device in full glory.
Today we have a new leak in the form of a screenshot which reveals the alleged specifications of Huawei Mate 9 top variant. The leaked image reproduced above, indicate that Huawei Mate 9 sports a 5.9 inch 2K display and is powered by Huawei Kirin 960 processor. It comes with 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based operating system. The leak also indicate that the main dual camera setup on Huawei Mate 9 consist of a 20 MP + 8 MP camera sensors.
Earlier leaks have suggested that Mate 9 sports a full HD 1080p display instead of a 2K display. Similarly, the earlier rumors only talked about a 4 GB RAM variant with 64 GB / 128 GB of internal storage whereas todays leak suggest a 6 GB RAM variant with 256 GB internal storage. When it comes to internal storage, earlier rumors suggested Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system instead of today’s Android 7.0 Nougat.
