Just a few days back, we reported about upcoming full screen device from Lenovo that was teased by Group Vice president and is expected to be officially unveiled on June 14. At that moment, we didn’t have any idea of the name of the device and not even sure if it will be ZUK branded or Motorola one. Today we have the confirmation of both the name of the device and the fact that it will be a flagship device from Lenovo. Lenovo Vice president has once again used the Weibo account to reveal the name of the flagship device i.e. Lenovo Z5.
At the moment, there is no Lenovo Z series devices but under Motorola brand which is owned by Lenovo we have the Moto Z series. Hence this confirmation of Lenovo Z5 by itsVice president indicate that either Lenovo is looking to unveil a new series of flagship smartphones or the company may be converting the Moto Z series to Lenovo Z series. But we still need to wait for some confirmation before we can be sure.
As can be seen by the sketch teased, Lenovo Z5 may come with a screen to body ratio of more than 95% with no bezels at any side and without any notch at the top of display which is slowly getting popular among smartphone brands these days.
At the moment, we have no information about the hardware specifications of the device, but if it’s a flagship device, you can safely assume it to be powered by an high end SOC such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 along with 6GB / 8GB of RAM.
