The official launch of the next flagship device from LG i.e. LG G7 appears to be delayed contradicting earlier reports which indicated a possible launch in January itself instead of during the Mobile World Congress 2018. The latest report coming from Korea indicates that LG G7 may officially launch in March 2018 skipping the Mobile World Congress 2018 indicating a month-long delay compared to last year LG G6 launch.
The report also indicates that the device will officially launch in April 2018. The report quotes an anonymous ranking official of one of Korea’s top three telecom carriers i.e. SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus who says “We have agreed with LG to launch the G7 in April”. The Korean launch is expected on April 20, followed by Europe and the US couple of weeks later.
Based on latest rumours, LG G7 is expected to be powered by upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with bezel-less design having OLED display like the V30 and dual camera setup on the rear. Some rumours suggest Iris Scanner too.
