Rumour mills around OnePlus 5 have slowly gained steam with more leaks coming out with each passing day. Today, a new leak comes in the form of Renders of the back panel of alleged OnePlus 5 showing the flagship device in three different colours i.e. Gold, Red and Blue. The dual camera setup is vertically aligned, while the LED flash is placed below the camera module followed by “OnePlus” logo or branding. No Antenna lines are visible on the back panel, while two buttons are visible at the right side, while a single button is visible on the left side.
The size of the phone looks a bit smaller compared to existing OnePlus 3T smartphone which matches with the official tweeted image yesterday by the company which suggests same with the image indicating OnePlus 5 is completely covered by OnePlus 3T.

OnePlus 5 retail box designs teased officially, May launch on June 15
Oneplus has just teased eight different retail box designs for the upcoming OnePlus 5 smartphone through their official Weibo handle in China. The company is yet to announce an official launch date, though rumours suggest that the flagship device may be unveiled on June 15. TheĀ retail boxes design show numeral “5” written in the big font with White and Red colours. Three of the boxes are almost fully in red colour, while the rest are more white. At the moment, we are not sure if all these eight designs will be used by the company when it is launched officially or just one of these.
An alleged teaser of OnePlus 5 has also leaked on Weibo, which suggest a June 15 unveiling, But in our opinion, the alleged teaser is a fake one and is photoshopped using another teaser for a different smartphone.

OnePlus 5 May be launched officially on June 15, Internal email leak suggests
A new leak in the form of alleged internal email of OnePlus, the next flagship device OnePlus 5 may be officially launched next month on June 15. The leaked internal email talks about OnePlus 5 and arrangements for publicity of the same with a date of June 15 which falls on Thursday suggesting that the company plans to launch the phone on June 15. At the moment, we are not sure about the authenticity of this leak, so take it with a pinch of salt.

Alleged OnePlus 5 Case Render Leak, suggest Vertical Dual Rear Cameras
Today we have another OnePlus 5 leak which comes in the form of an alleged OnePlus 5 case render. The leaked case renders again add to the confusion on whether the dual camera setup at the back comes with a horizontal alignment or vertical one. The case render suggests a vertical Dual camera setup, though we have seen numerous leaks which suggest a horizontal dual camera setup. The leaked case renders may be based on the rumors itself and may be far from the actual design.
Perhaps we need to wait for some credible leak before we can be sure of the alignment of the cameras. The case renders doesn’t reveal any other details including Audio jack, but we can see the Volume rockers along with power button at sides and the front home button at front.

OnePlus 5 with Snapdragon 835, 6 GB RAM, 16 MP camera spotted on Antutu; Scores 176,000
We have seen numerous leaks and rumoursĀ about OnePlus 5 though none of them can be termed as a credible one. Today, we have a credible leak which comes in the form of Antutu Benchmark listing which details out some of the major hardware specifications. The Antutu Benchmark listing reveals the model number of OnePlus 5 as A5000. As per Antutu, OnePlus 5 features a Full HD 1080p display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 along with 6 GB of RAM. Rumours have indicated a 8 GB RAM variant too, but we are yet to get some confirmation on that. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based operating system.
In terms of camera, it indicates a 16 MP front shooter for selfies and another 16 MP main rear camera. The Antutu benchmark doesn’t indicate any dual camera setup, but most rumors suggest presence of a dual camera setup at the back panel.
OnePlus 5 scored around 176,000 on Antutu Benchmark which is one of the highest that we have seen so far in flagship devices.

Rumor mills are churning out leaks with each passing day about the upcoming flagship device OnePlus 5. We have already seen reports of leaks suggesting contradictory images showing the horizontal and vertical alignment of the Dual camera at the back. Today, new alleged renders of OnePlus 5 have surfaced on the web originating from China which suggests a Vertical aligned dual camera at the back panel while no fingerprint sensor at back. The new render suggests that the Fingerprint sensor of OnePlus 5 is located on the front most probably embedded in the Home button. Antenna lines are visible at top and bottom with OnePlus branding in the middle.
Earlier rumours suggested a dual front camera also, but this new leaked render doesn’t confirm the presence of the dual front camera.

OnePlus 5 Sketches leak; suggest Dual Cameras both at front and back, Toggle Switch [Update: Official Teaser]
Adding to the numerous rumors around upcoming flagship device OnePlus 5, today two new alleged sketches of OnePlus 5 have leaked on the web originating in China which if credible, gives us a sneak peek into the design of the device including the camera. These alleged sketches suggest presence of Dual camera both at front and back panel. Earlier rumors has only suggested Dual camera on the back panel of OnePlus 5. The alignment of the rearĀ dual camera is vertical,Ā though some rumors pointed out a horizontal alignment with placement at top left corner. The sketches though doesn’t reveal any information about the camera sensors or their make. There is a slight camera bump visible at the back. It also indicates a dual flash with the main camera setup at back. Apart from the Dual cameras, the sketches also suggest a ceramic body of 0.5 mm thickness instead of a metallic build.
We can clearly see a USB type C port along with 3.5mm audio jack along with speaker grills at the bottom. Apart from the volume rockers, an additional button in the form of a hardware toggle switch is also present similar to what we have seen in OnePlus X. The build of the device is narrow at the side ends while a bit thicker in the middle. Antenna lines are visible only at the bottom of the device and not on the top.

OnePlus has just released a teaser with “Hello 5” caption from their official handle suggesting that official launch of OnePlus 5 is rounder the corner.

OnePlus 5 “About Phone” Screenshot leak, suggests 8 GB RAM
Just yesterday we reported about a rumor which revealed the alleged technical specification of OnePlus 5 along with possible launch date in late June. The rumor also suggested that the flagship device from OnePlus may come with 6 GB RAM with no 8 GB variant, but today we have another leak which contradicts this earlier rumor. This new leakĀ (via) comes in the form of a screenshot of alleged OnePlus 5 “About Phone” and lists out some of the basic hardware specification of the device.
As per this “About Phone” Screenshot, theĀ upcomingĀ OnePlus 5 runs on HYdrogen OS based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat based operating system. The phone is backed by 8 GB of RAM and comes with 128 GB of internal storage. This leak though doesn’t reveal any other details about the phone.
To be honest, we are not sure if this leak is genuine or not, so take this with a pinch of salt.

OnePlus 5 may launch in late June with SD835, FHD, 6 GB RAM and 3600 mAh battery
Rumor mills around OnePlus 5Ā have started toĀ churn slowly which follows the confirmation of name “OnePlus 5” after it appeared on Chinese wireless / radio regulation authority. Today, some new rumors have surfaced on the web, originating from China which offer some new information about the upcoming flagship device “OnePlus 5”. As per the new rumor, OnePlus 5 may only come with a full HD 1080p display instead of a Quad HD or 2K display thanks to issues related to procuring the 2K display from Samsung. The rumor also suggest that OnePlus may not go with 8 GB of RAM as rumored before, but will only offer 6 GB of RAM due to production cost.
It also goes on to state that OnePlus 5 may come with 3600 mAh battery and offer 25% faster charging compared to existing OnePlus 3T. Another important that the rumor talks about, is the possible launch date of the flagship device. It suggests that OnePlus 5 may be launched in late June 2017 which just the end of H1 2017. Earlier rumors have suggested official launch in H2 2017.
Thanks to earlier rumors, we already know that OnePlus may come with a dual camera setup at the backĀ with a 23 MPĀ sensor with features like optical image stabilisation, zoom, fast flashĀ etc. along with another 16 MP front shooter for selfies. The dual camera setup is expected to be aligned horizontally at the top left corner of the device as suggested by an alleged OnePlus 5 case leak. In terms of the thickness, the phone is rumored to be just 7 mm thin with slim bezels.Ā The fingerprint sensor is expected to be present at the back panel instead of being integrated into the front display or the home button.
