OnePlus is expected to launch a new device OnePlus 3T during an event in London on November 15. Rumors indicate OnePlus 3T is powered by Snapdragon 821 with 6 GB of RAM running Android 7.0 Nougat, backed by a 3300 mAh battery. As the official launch is just 2 days away, we will wait a bit to know the official specifications of OnePlus 3T, whereas OnePlus 4 is expected to launch next year sometime in June-July and is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor.
Today more details in the form of a new rumor along with a possible render of OnePlus 4 has emerged on Weibo. The Render puts the device name as OnePlus 4 (5?) suggesting some speculation on naming of the next flagship device from the company. The image indicates that OnePlus 4 (5?) sports a Glass-made body with 5.3 inch 2K AMOLED display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 (835) along with two variants of RAM i.e. 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM. We are not sure what “Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 (835)” indicates clearly. Whether it indicates two variants of the flagship or just one variant powered by either of Snapdragon 830 or Snapdragon 835. Earlier rumors indicated snapdragon 830 only.
The rumor also suggests that OnePlus 4 (5?) comes with dual camera setup at back with AR/MR. Here AR means Augmented reality and MR means Mixed Reality. At the moment, no details about the possible make of camera sensors is available. It also indicates that the device is backed by a 4000 mAh battery.
As with any leak, take this with a pinch of salt and we would prefer to wait for some more credible leak before we can make some opinion. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
