Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is already in labs in prototype devices of upcoming smartphones due next year. This upcoming processor is being produced by Samsung using the 10nm process. Some of the first devices which we already know will be powered by Snapdragon 835 include Samsung Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Mi 6.
Qualcomm is yet to reveal technical details of Snapdragon 835 including benchmark performances, the SOC has already popped on benchmarking portal Antutu benchmark giving some great insight for the upcoming SOC chip. As per the Antutu Benchmark score, Snapdragon 835 scores 181,434 which is a significant jump over existing Snapdragon 821 SOC chip.
The prototype device on which this Antutu Benchmark score is achieved sports a 5.9 inch 2K display, powered by Snapdragon 835 along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage running Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. It also indicates that the official variant score will be higher. It also indicates that Snapdragon 835 is an octa-core processor instead of a Quad Core design of Snapdragon 821. The GPU model is Adreno 540.
The SOC chip also surfaced on Gfxbench benchmarking portal and reveal the same information abut the chip i.e it is an octa core CPu and comes with Adreno 540 GPU.
