Unicode 7.0 was released today, bringing in over 2,800 characters, including the currency symbols: the Azerbaijan Manat, and the Russian Ruble.
The update also brings a plethora of Emojis which you will heart.
A total of 250 new emojis have been added to version 7.0, which hopefully, will be implemented by Google in the not too distant future, so Android users can IM their emotions in style.
Once they do, we also hope that SwiftKey will “swiftly” update their keyboard to support the new one, because in case you haven’t heard, the latest version of the app supports emoji prediction.
Some of the new emojis from the 7.0 update include: A Stadium, Checker Board, Passenger Ship and even a reversed hand with middle finger extended.
