HTC one is the flagship device of HTC and in continuation with that, they unveiled today HTC Desire 816 calling it a mid-range flagship device. It is the largest device in Desire range and looks similar to HTC one in basic shape & design. The device is powered by a Qualcomm 1.6 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. It sports a 5.5 inch 720p display making it similar to phablets in terms of size.
In terms of storage, it comes with a 8GB of internal storage along with support for microSD expansion up to 128GB. The device is powered by a 2,600mAh battery.
In terms of camera, it sports a 13 megapixel with f/2.2 main camera and 5 megapixel front-facing camera . It also comes with HTC’s front-facing BoomSound speakers with dedicated amplifiers and support for LTE & HSPA+ in EMEA and Asian markets. It also comes with nano-SIM support and on-screen Android buttons.

Pricing and Availability
HTC will be releasing desire 816 in China with launch set for March 18th followed by a global release in April. We are yet to hear anything about the pricing of the device.
