Entry level market of smartphone is getting too competitive with entry of budget but capable smartphones. Xiaomi has led this segment with devices like Redmi 1S. After Xiaomi announced Redmi 2, Meizu has announced 5-inch Meizu M1 for just $110.
Meizu M1 sports a 5-inch display with resolution of 1280×768 pixels & pixel density of 300 ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass third generation protection. The device is powered by a 64-bit Mediatek MT6732 SoC, which features a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, clocked at 1.5GHz & Mali T760 MP2 500MHz GPU supported with 1 GB of RAM.
In terms of internal storage, it comes with 8 GB of onboard storage and with microSD card support upto 128 GB. When it comes to optics, its primary camera is 13 MP sensor and the front one is 5 MP with F2.0 aperture.
The device supports LTE connectivity and is a Single SIM device.
The smartphone is powered by a 2,610 mAh battery. The device will be available in peppermint green, yellow, pink, blue, green and white. The device is just 8.9 mm thick.
Meizu M1 will be available for pre order in China on February 5 for CNY 699 (~$110).
