Honor is holding an event on July 11 in China to launch Honor 8 smartphone. Apart from Honor 8, a phablet Honor X3 is also expected to be announced by the company on same day. Today a new 6.6 inch phablet from the company i.e. Honor EDI-DL00 just passed through TENAA and could be the same X3 phablet expected to be launched on the same day.
As per the listing, it sports a 6.6 inch QHD display with resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels and is powered by 2.3 GHz Octa-core processor (most probably Kirin 950) along with 3 GB of RAM. It comes with 32 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via Microsd card and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system.
In terms of camera, it sports a 13 MP main rear camera with Full HD video recording support and a 8 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a big battery of 4400 mAh capacity. It measures 178.8 × 90.9 × 7.18 mm and weighs 219 grams.
Looking at these specs, Honor X3 appears to compete with Xiaomi Mi Max which was launched sometime back as a big phablet with 6.4 inch screen with similar specifications and big battery.
We will keep tracking this till the official launch on July 11 (probably). Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
