Temple Run 2 update brings Daily & Weekly challenges, bug fixes & more:

Imangi Studios have released an update for Temple Run 2 which introduces a new feature and some much awaited bug fixes.

Fans have been asking for the “coins collected” bug to be fixed for a long time.

They have introduced Daily challenges and weekly challenges to the game and winning the challenges will reward you with gold and precious gems. It is similar to Subway Surfers’  daily challenges because it has a time limit. The weekly challenges are more rewarding, obviously because they will take a while to complete.

Here is the official change-log for the update:

Daily and weekly challenges to win free coins and gems!
Powerups collected now extend the time of already active powers
Stuck objectives should be fixed
More bug fixes

Well that explains why it took them a long time to fix the bugs, they wanted to release an update introducing the challenges,
