Send scheduled messages through SMS, Facebook, Twitter and Gmail with Schemes

Schemes, or “Scheduled Messaging” is an app  developed by an XDA developer, Flozzo.

Schemes - Scheduled Networking

It allows you to send scheduled messages via SMS, Facebook, Twitter or Email (Gmail only!).

Scheduled Tweets, oh how I miss Tweetdeck for Android. But this app could work just fine. You can also schedule an SMS to even multiple contacts.

Features of the app:

  • Send scheduled SMS, Facebook statuses, Tweets or Emails from your device!
  • Clean Holo UI
  • Notifications on sending
  • All messages are added to their respective threads in the Messaging app
  • Cancelable messages
  • And more!

It is still in beta so they may add support for other networks.

Schemes should run on Android devices with Honeycomb and Above. It is not compatible with my Nexus 7 which is a wifi only model, so obviously they have restricted the app to devices with a SIM card.

You can download Schemes – Scheduled Networking for free from Google Play.

The developer says he may work on support for Gingerbread devices.
