Gameloft have released a new game based on the upcoming movie, Despicable Me 2.
You can play as the cute little yellow minions in this endless runner.
And it’s not just a runner game, you can jump, fly and there will be boss fights where you defeat villains. You can even customize your minion with cute costumes, powerups and weapons. Now that is cool!
Like all traditional runner games, this one also has Missions, completing which will net you some nice rewards which you can use at the in-game store.
Despicable Me Minion Rush features locations such as Gru’s Lab & Gru’s Residential Area. Psst! there are secret areas to explore.
To make things even more cuter, there is a Fluffy Unicorn which you can ride. Ouch!
Here is a funny part, the minion on the main menu responds to touch and it’s hilarious. You can tickle his belly or annoy him by tapping on his head, or tap on either of his hands and watch him play with his glove.
The best part would be the control schemes. No tilt controls. Just swipe your way to fun.
The game also has social features and allows you to challenge your friends via Facebook. The game is a mere 11 MB in size, but it will download a further 30 MB or more upon launching the game.
