File Expert adds Drag & Drop support for Android 3.0+

File Expert received an update bringing Drap & Drag support for easier handling of files.

File Expert

The bad news is this feature only works on devices running Honeycomb or above.

But on the bright side, this feature has been included on both File Expert and File Expert HD.

How to Drag & Drop files:

  • Tap and hold on the file you want to move and it will be highlighted.
  • Just drag and Drop it to the destination of your choice.

This only works if the destination folder is in the same folder (as a sub-folder) as the file you want  to move.

The update also sets the Holo style as the default one.  And there is no option to change the UI.

Here are some screenshots which shows the old UI (on the left) and the new Holo UI.

But if you want to change the theme, there are a few available at the developer’s Google Play page.

If your device is running Android 4.0+, download File Expert HD.

For older devices, download File Expert.

Both apps are free to download and ad-free.
