Oplus announced the launch of its 5” Smartphone – ‘XonPhone 5’ exclusively on Snapdeal which is its second device in India. Before this, oplus has launched its tablet Xonpad 7 in January this year. Even though we do not have sales figure of Xonpad 7, Snapdeal and Oplus claim the sales for the said device as good. But unless they release some actual figures, we highly doubt that claim.
XonPhone 5 comes with 5 inch capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and a pixel density of 320 PPI.
The device is powered by MediaTek MTK 6582 Quad core 1.3GHz Cortex A7 Processor supported by 1 GB RAM and a Mali-400 MP GPU. In terms of operating system, it runs the latest Android version i.e Android 4.4.2 Kitkat.
In terms of camera, it comes with 8 MP Back Camera with auto focus with LED Flash and a 2 MP Front Camera. The main camera is capable of capturing full HD videos on a 1088 x 1920 at 30fps.
XonPhone 5 comes with 16 GB internal Storage with support for micro SD Card upto 32 GB.
In terms of battery, it is powered by a 2000 mAh battery giving talk time of 15 hours and standby time of 300 hours (for 1 Sim).
It also comes with YAMHA Professional bass speakers and Dual SIM card (1 micro SIM & 1 mini SIM) support.
