Google has silently made available a Motorola Moto G Google Play edition on US Google Play Store. This announcement of Google Play edition of Motorola Moto G may seem weird to many of us including me. Everything looks same as the normal Moto G edition even in terms of pricing included.
But as we know the case with Google Play edition of devices, Motorola Moto G Google Play edition will feature a more stock Android experience without any addition or features from Motorola (we already have a almost Android stock kind of experience on Motorola Moto G).
Another feature which comes with Play edition devices being the fast availability of Android updates as and when they get released from Google just like Nexus devices, but we have already seen that Moto G is one of the first devices to get Android 4.4 kitkat upgrade.
Moto G Google Play edition is available in US Google Play Store in two models of 8 GB and 16 GB storage capacity at a price of $179 and $199 respectively. The device though is not yet available in our country (India).
