Yet another Nokia Normandy screenshot was leaked today.
The leaked image shows the User Interface that the phone will have, and it looks very much like the Windows Phone’s UI.EVleaks posted the following image on their Twitter account.
Look at the tile icon layout and colors. It is very similar to that of the Windows Phone. Notice, that the time displayed is the same as the previously leaked UI, 10:45. Also, the status bar has two SIM icons on the top left corner, which confirms that this will be a Dual-SIM phone.
The Nokia Normandy will come with a custom Android version, which is expected to be devoid of Google’s apps and services. Instead it will feature Nokia and Microsoft’s apps, for eg: Skype.
It will be interesting to see whether it will stay exclusive to Nokia’s Android device. Perhaps they will use their own framework like Samsung’s TouchWiz. Or else the apps could be easily extracted and used on other Android devices.
And it looks like the phone will handle modern games, you can see the icons for Asphalt 8 and Plants vs. Zombies 2 in the above screenshot.
Nokia are expected to launch their debutant Android device, codename Nokia 1045 during the Mobile World Congress 2014 which takes place in February at Barcelona, Spain.
