HTC has just unveiled the next edition of its Butterfly Smartphone by the name of HTC Butterfly 2 aka HTC J butterfly HTL23 available through KDDI in Japan. HTC Butterfly 2 will also be available through Chunghwa Telecom in Taiwan, CSL in Hong Kong, and a number of other carriers throughout South Asia.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, 2.5 GHz quad-core CPU along with 2 GB of RAM running Android with HTC Sense 6.0 with HTC BlinkFeed as its operating system. In terms of storage, it comes in both 16 GB and 32 GB models along with support for external memory via micro SD cards.
In terms of camera, it comes with a Duo Camera that features a 13MP camera, a dual flash and Full 1080p HD Video Recording, producing incredible images and rich, high-quality video. It also comes with a 5MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor, with HDR capability, 1080p Full HD video recording.
It is powered by a embedded rechargeable Li-polymer battery of 2700 mAh Capacity.

Availability
HTC Butterfly 2 will be available in Taiwan on September 2nd and will also be sold through major wireless carriers & retailers in Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
