Gionee has just launched another smartphone in the moderate price range segment in India. Gionee has announced availability of CTRL V4S in India at a price of Rs 9,999 which puts it in direct competition with devices like Moto G (2nd Gen), ASUS Zenfone 5, Android One smartphones, Moto E and Redmi 1s.
Gionee CTRL V4S is a dual SIM device and sports a a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS LCD display & is powered by Quad Core 1.3 GHz CPU along with 1 GB RAM. Gionee CTRL V4S runs on Android 4.4 kitkat operating system. It is just 7.8mm thick.
In terms of camera, it comes with a 8.0 MP back camera and a 2.0 MP front shooter. In terms of internal storage, it comes with 8GB internal memory. There is no mention of micro SD support though it should have been.
The device is powered by a 1800 mAh battery.
Price and Availability
The Gionee CTRL V4S will be available at MOP of Rs. 9,999 in coming weeks in India. I am not sure how successful the device will be considering its price tag and availability of better options in the market at lower price points.
