ColorOS V2.0 based on Kitkat for Oppo Find 7/7a is available, No OTA yet

If you own either of the Oppo Find 7 or Oppo Find 7a, here is some good news. Oppo has just announced that ColorOS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 KitKat is ready for both the Find 7 (X9076) and Find 7a (X9006). This is a stable version but is not yet ready for mass production and hence OTA (Over the Air) update is not yet available for this version.

Oppo Find 7Apart from the usual Android 4.4 kitkat features, some of the additional features that comes with this update are:

  • Refined UI Design
  • Global Gaussian Blur Effect
  • System Wide Animation
  • Live Weather 2.0
  • Global Gesture Panel 2.0
  • Redesigned Task Manager
  • Easy Crop for Screenshots
  • Single Layer Launcher
  • Super Power Saving
  • Memory Cleaner

The update zip file is approximately 914 MB in size and can be downloaded manually on your PC. The download link for ColorOS V2.0 based on Kitkat for Oppo Find 7/7a  and the  instructions for installing the update can be found at the source link below.
