Spice Mobiles has announced that it has released the Android Lollipop 5.1 update for it’s Android One phones in India.
This makes Spice the first company to launch Android 5.1 in the Country, as even Google hasn’t updated it’s Nexus devices to 5.1 yet.
The update is available for the Spice Dream Uno and the Spice Dream Uno H phones, and brings the latest iteration of Android, with improvements for the battery and RAM management and smarter notifications.
The update will be seeded to Spice Dream Uno users in batches over the next few days. If you haven’t received the notification for the OTA update yet, you can manually check for it from Settings > About Phone.
