Popular file sharing service 4shared has released a new note taking app for Android.
The app is called 4shared Note, and does exactly what the name suggests, nothing more and nothing less.
You will need a free 4shared account to log in to the app, but once you do so, it will work offline too. All you have to do to add a note is tap on the + button.
In fact, there are just two other buttons, a refresh (sync) button and a menu button, which displays the settings. You can view the account information of the user logged in to the app, log out of the account and check the app’s version. Like I said earlier, it is a simple note taking app, it has no bells and whistles.
Should you wish to remove or share the note you have saved, you can do that from the app itself, just tap on the note and then on the three dot menu button to do so. All notes are automatically backed up to your 4sync account, and can be accessed across all devices.
A widget or an option to password protect notes would have been pretty useful though.
Download 4shared Note for free from Google Play:

It has no ads or IAPs.
Thanks Grr for the tip.
