One of the most loved PC RPG games, Torchlight is coming to mobile devices.
The announcement was made at E3 2015.
Torchlight is a hack n slash game similar to Diablo 2, and has exceptional artwork and graphics. Torchlight was developed by Runic Games, the founders of which were once employees of Blizzard, and had been invivolved n the making of Diablo 2.
I personally am an RPG and RTS fan and have played Diablo 2, Torchlight and Torchlight 2. I was really excited to hear that Torchlight is coming to Android and iOS devices. The game will be called Torchlight Mobile, and is expected to be released later this year. We do not have a concrete release date yet.
Torchlight Mobile is developed by Feeden Games, and will feature the artwork similar to the PC games and will also support online multiplayer. Torchlight Mobile will be free to play, and will be an exclusive game for mobile devices, i.e, it is not a port of the PC version.
Toucharcade has posted an article about Torchlight mobile, which they managed to play at E3. Sadly, the game seems to have an energy system, and playing quests will cost energy, the game also uses two in-game currencies. I will gladly forgive it, if it offers offline gameplay.
