Remember the Redmi Note 4G?
The Snapdragon 400 powered phablet was launched in December last year for a price of Rs. 9,999.
The Note 4G, is a single SIM device which as the name suggests, supports 4G LTE networks. It flaunts a 5.5-inch HD Display (720p), and is powered by a 1.6 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and 2 GB of RAM. It has 8 GB of Internal Storage, and supports up to 64 GB of expandable memory
The Redmi Note 4G sports a 13 Megapixel camera on the rear with LED flash, and a 5 Megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 3100 mAh Lithium-ion battery.
It was one of the first affordable devices with 2GB RAM, to be launched in India. The device is quite dated now, and Mi India knows this well. Yesterday it began teasing its fans, about a “Note” announcement and posted the following image on its Facebook page:
It clearly signifies a “dropped” catch, which in this context, translates to a price drop. And today, Mi India has announced a price cut for the Redmi Note 4G.
