According to the leak, Xiaomi will launch two versions of the Mi 5: the Xiaomi M i5 and the Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus. Both devices will reportedly feature an all metal body, while the phone’s front will be reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 + 2.5D glass.
Xiaomi Mi 5 Specs:
The Mi 5 will sport a 5.2-inch 2K LCD display, and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. The phone will run on MIUI 7, based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. MIUI 7 is rumoured to feature a floating screen UX. The Mi 5 will come with a 16 megapixel rear camera, and a 13 megapixel front camera. The phone will be backed by a 3,000mAh battery, which is touted to charge up to 30% in just five minutes, while charging up to full capacity takes just 40 minutes.
Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus Specs:
The higher end version of the phone will sport a 5.7-inch 2K Display, with some advanced technology like Quantom Dot display. The Mi 5 Plus will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, which supports Qualcomm’s Sense ID fingerprint technology.
The phone will also come with a whopping 23 megapixel camera with OIS and Laser Focus. The front camera on the phone is rumoured to be a 12 megapixel lens. The Mi 5 Plus will be backed by a 3500mAh battery which supports fast charge, which can charge up to 100% in just 50 minutes.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 will be priced at 2399 Yuan (around $386 or 24,500 Rupees), while the Mi 5 Plus version could be priced at 3000 Yuan (around $480 or 30,500 Rupees).
