OnePlus has announced most of the technical specifications of its 2015 flagship, the OnePlus 2.
And now we have what appears to be the first legit images of the device, thanks to China’s telecommunications equipment certification authority TENAA.
The above image is the OnePlus 2, though that button does make it look similar to a Samsung device, doesn’t it. It is actually the physical fingerprint sensor. Also notice the speaker grille and the front camera, in the original OnePlus One, the camera was on the left side.
And now lets take a look at the main camera.
Oddly the dual LED flash is placed above the camera, instead of beside it or below it. You can also see the laser autofocus, just below the camera lens.
The left hand side of the phone houses the USB Type-C port, which apparently has a sliding door. The power button and the volume rocker are housed on the right hand side of the phone.
The lack of a SIM card slot on either sides, suggest that the OnePlus 2 will have a removable back cover for inserting the SIM card (or cards as it is reportedly a Dual SIM device).
The OnePlus 2 is already being criticized for the resemblance it bears to the OnePlus 2. But we will know for certain, on July 28th, when the phone is officially launched.
Thanks for the tip Krish
