Motorola has slashed the price of its budget phone, the Moto E 2nd Gen, making the affordable device, even more affordable.
The Moto E 2nd Gen is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM. It flaunts a 4.5-inch IPS display which supports a resolution of 540×960 pixels , a pixel density 245 ppi, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and an Anti-smudge coating.
The phone comes with 8GB of onboard storage, which is expandable upto 32GB via a microSD card slot. The Moto E 2nd Gen sports a 5 Megapixels camera on the rear, and a VGA front camera. It is a Dual SIM phone, and packs a 2390 mAh battery.
Both variants of the phone, which were launched earlier this year, have had their prices slashed by Rs. 1,000. The Moto E 2nd Gen 3G is now available for Rs. 5,999, while the Moto E 2nd Gen 4G is available for Rs. 6,999 from Flipkart. Additionally, Flipkart is offering up to Rs. 2,000 off in exchange for your old smartphone.
Motorola has announced an event which has been scheduled for July 28. We can expect some new devices such as the Moto X and Moto G 3rd Gen.
