OPPO Mobiles has announced that it would be launching its R7 series in India, in the first week of September.
The two phones which are expected to be launched are the OPPO R7 and the OPPO R7 Plus.
The OPPO R7 sports a 5-inch Full HD 1080p AMOLED display, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, and supports Glove and Wet Touch Input.
The phone runs on ColorOS 2.1, based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor (MSM8939), with 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 405 GPU.
The OPPO R7 comes with 16GB of internal storage, and supports expandable memory as well. The phone features a 13-megapixel (Samsung 3M2) rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture, LED Flash and a variety of photo capturing filters and modes. The front camera is an 8-megapixel OmniVision OV8858 selfie lens. The R7 is a Dual SIM phone, supports 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, OTG connectivity., and is backed by a 2,320 mAh battery.
The OPPO R7 will be available in two colours: Golden and Silver
The OPPO R7 Plus shares the same technical specifications except that it sports a massive 6-inch display, has 32 GB of internal storage, and is backed by a 4100 mAh battery.
The rear camera is a 13-megapixel Sony IMX278, while the LED flash has Dual LED.
OPPO will be unveiling the R7 series on September 2nd in New Delhi, on 4th in Mumbai, and on the 7th in Bangalore.
