Meizu has announced that it will be launching its Meizu M2 phone next week in India.
The phone flaunts a 5-inch HD 720P display, and is protected by Dragontrail glass.
The M2 runs on the company’s Flyme OS 4.5 and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, with 2GB RAM and a Mali T720 GPU. The phone comes with 16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card, and up to 144GB via the Nano SIM card slot.
The Meizu m2 sports a 13 megapixel rear camera CMOS lens from Samsung, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, has an ƒ/2.2 aperture, a 5-element lens and a single LED Flash. The selfie lens is a 5 megapixel front camera, has an ƒ/2.0 aperture, a 4-element lens, and supports FotoNation 2.0 smart selfie enhancement and Face AE face light boost.
The M2 is a 4G enabled phone which supports both TDD and FDD. It is a dual SIM phone which allows two Nano-SIM cards in a single tray. The card tray supports microSD cards with a storage capacity of 144 GB.
The Meizu m2 has a polycarbonate unibody design and a magnesium-alloy frame, and measures 68.9 x 18.7mm x 140.1mm and weighs 131g. The device will be available in 4 colours: white, blue, grey and pink.
Naturally, there is no information on the pricing of the Meizu M2 just yet.
