Gionee has just announced another mid range smartphone i.e Gionee Elife S Plus. Elife S Plus sports a 5.5 inch HD (720p) AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by Mediatek MT6753 chipset with an octa-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 processor, Matli-T720 GPU and 3 GB of RAM.
Elife S Plus is powered by Amigo 3.1, which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. In terms of storage, it comes with 16 GB of internal memory. The press release is silent about the expandable memory storage option via microSD card. We do expect that it supports microsd cards, but we need to confirm it from Gionee. We will update when we get any clarification.
Gionee S Plus comes with a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 5 MP front facing camera. It comes with 4G LTE and Dual SIM support. It is powered by 3150 mAh battery.
Price and Availability
Elife S Plus will be available in three colors i.e. Dark Blue, White and Golden. In terms of pricing, it will be available in India at MOP Rs. 16,999 starting November first week.
