CPU-Z is a renown app, which displays information about the hardware of the device it runs on.
It was originally an app for Windows PCs, and was also made available for Android devices.
The app is extremely useful for users who want to monitor the state of their battery, monitor the temperature of the device using the Thermal tab. Novice users also found it helpful, as the app displayed information about the OS, RAM, Processor and more.
What was once a good app, has now taken a turn for the worse. Recently CPU-Z was updated, and the app began to display full screen interstitial ads, which is a horrrible move. And the app’s latest version added In-App purchases to remove the ads.
While we do understand that developers need to earn money, and that ads can help them greatly, we do not support any app which includes full screen ads. A small ad banner is fine, and is worth throwing money at.
If you are looking for an alternative to CPU-Z, I recommend using Aida64, which offers the same functions, without any annoying ads.
