Coolpad has launched a mini version of its phablet device, the Note 3, in India.
The phone aptly called the Coolpad Note 3 Lite, sports a 5-inch HD 720 Display and runs on Coolpad 6.0UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The device is powered by a 64-bit quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6735 processor (Cortex A53 cores) with 3GB of RAM, and a Mali T-720 GPU. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite comes with 16GB of internal storage, and supports upto 32GB of expandable memory.
The device features a 13 megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, LED Flash, and a 5 megapixel front camera. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite has a rear placed fingerprint sensor, placed below the camera. The sensor uses Fingerpint 2.0,to provide a 0.5s unlocking speed, 99.9% recognition rate and uses self-learning tech.
The fingerprint sensor can be used for taking selfies, recording videos, locking apps, and more. Other sensors on the Note 3 Lite include a Gravity Sensor, Proximity Sensor, a Light Sensor, and a Magnetic Sensor.
The phone supports Dual SIM cards, with 4G LTE network connectivity (TD Band 3, FDD Band 40), and Coolpad says that it will soon add support for VoLTE (Voice over LTE), probably for the upcoming Reliance Jio network. It also supports USB On The Go (OTG).
The Coolpad Note 3 Lite, sports an arc Design with a metal frame (gold colour), and a white plastic back cover. The phone uses a self cooling tech thanks to a Nano-Sealing with a Nano Ice-Spacer.

The Coolpad Note 3 Lite has been priced at Rs 6999, and will be available exclusively on Amazon India. Registrations for the first flash sale will begun today at 5:00 PM and the first sale will take place on January 28th 2016, at 2:00 PM.
This happens to be the first phone under Rs 10000 in India, to sport a Fingerprint Scanner. Also worth applauding, is the fact that Coolpad has started manufacturing phones in the Country, under the Make in India initiative.
