Here is some good news if you own either of Sony Xperia Z3+ / Z5 / Z5 Premium smartphone and are waiting for Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. Sony has just announced that it is rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to Xperia Z3+ / Z5 / Z5 Premium devices in India this weekend.
This announcement is made by Sony Xperia India official twitter account which said:
If you have #Xperia Z3+ / Z5 / Z5 Premium – it's " M for the weekend " time. #India m/ :)

The “M for the weekend” was clarified in the next tweet as Marshmallow by the Sony India official twitter handle.

This announcement is in line with the Sony Xperia Android 6.0 Marshmallow update plans released in October last year.
Sony announced the Marshmallow update to global Sony Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact or Z5 Premium users worldwide just last week and today announcement adds Xperia Z3+ too in that list for Indian users.
This Marshmallow update brings the latest Android operating system with features such as Doze, Google Now on Tap and more.
