The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Honor 4x and Honor 5X is not too far away.
Honor India has officially announced through its Twitter handle, that the much awaited update will be arriving at the end of April 2016, for last year’s budget device, the 4X.
The Honor 5X, which debuted earlier this year, will get the latest version of Android, a month later, at the end of May 2016. It has already been announced that the device will be getting regular software updates, focused on the newest security fixes from Google.

But it is always nice to get a proper OS upgrade, and an announcement such as this, certainly adds to the buying factor of the device from the Huawei owned subsidiary.
