Micromax has just launched another entry-level Canvas Spark 2 Plus for a price of Rs. 3,999 for Indian smartphone market. Canvas Spark 2 Plus is the latest smartphone from Micromax in its Canvas Spark series preceded by Canvas Spark 1, Canvas Spark 2 and Canvas Spark 3. Micromax claims to have sold 1.5 million units of these entry-level devices till date.
Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus sports a 5-inch FWVGA display powered by 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor ( possibly Mediatek, but not specified by Micromax at the moment) supported by 1 GB of RAM. In terms of storage it comes with 8 GB of internal ROM along with support for expandable storage via Microsd card (The expandable feature isn’t specified officially, but we expect the phone to support that).
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Canvas Spark 2 Plus features a 5 MP Rear Camera with Flash and a 2 MP front shooter for selfies. In terms of connectivity, it supports 2G/3G only and no 4G LTE.
It is backed by a 2000 mAh capacity battery.
Canvas Spark 2 Plus will be available for a price of Rs. 3,999/- on Snapdeal exclusively in Metallic Grey, Copper Gold and Champagne Gold colors, starting 22nd April 2016 through open sale.
