Sometime back we reported that Asus may launch the next Zenfone i.e. Zenfone 3 on May 30 and now we have some sort of official confirmation to that. Asus has just confirmed the date of May 30 for their “Zenvolution” starting at 2 pm CST, at the Humble House in Taipei at Computex.
Going by the term “Zenvolution”, we can expect not only Zenfone 3 Smartphone range announcement but also devices like tablets, laptops, wearables and perhaps even virtual reality headsets under the Zen brand of Asus. The event will be available as Live stream.
At the moment we have no information on hardware specifications yet considering the fact that Intel has quit the smartphone market, personally we are hoping to see a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC onboard for the Asus 2016 flagship device, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the company opts for other vendors such as Mediatek.
