Huawei sub brand Honor has just launched the Honor V8 smartphone at an event in China. The company announced three different variants of Honor V8 with three different price for the same. These variants vary in terms of screen display quality, internal storage and network support. The lowest variant is priced at 2299 Yuan and the highest variant is priced at 2799 Yuan.
Huawei Honor V8 sports a 5.7-inch Full HD / QHD IPS display with 2.5D glass on top powered by an octa-core CPU (4xCortex-A72 + 4xCortex-A53 ) Kirin 950 / 955 processor along with 4 GB of RAM.
Two of the Honor V8 variants differ in terms of storage i.e. one variant with QHD display comes with 64 GB of internal storage, where as the other variant with full HD comes with 32 GB of internal storage. It comes with support for expandable storage via microsd cards. All the variants of Honor V8 though comes with 4 GB of RAM.
In terms of camera, it features a 12 MP dual camera with 6-element lenses with f/2.2 aperture, dual-LED flash and laser auto-focus just like the Huawei P9 but without the Leica branding. It sports a 8 MP front shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
It is backed by a 3500 mAh battery with support for fast charging and NFC. It comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Honor V8 will be available in Ceramic White, Platinum Silver, Rose Gold, Champagne gold, Ice Silver & Gray Colors and is priced as follows:
- Full HD screen, Kirin 950 SOC, 4 GB RAM + 32 GB : 2299 Yuan
- Full HD screen, Kirin 950 SOC, 4 GB RAM + 32 GB with support for more networks : 2499 Yuan
- Quad HD screen, Kirin 955 SOC, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB : 2799 Yuan
