Just three days back we reported that Huawei is working on a new smartphone range NOVA specially designed for Women and may launch it during the IFA 2016 event happening in Berlin from September 2 to September 7. Today an official teaser from Huawei released on Weibo by Yu Chengdong ( Senior Vice President Huawei Technologies ) announces an event on September 1, 2016 at IFA event in Berlin.
The invite / teaser from Huawei comes with a tagline of “Defy Expectations” and shows the bottom portion of the screen with green light all around, similar to making a fashion statement. Based on the glamorous teaser reproduced above, we can safely assume that Huawei is going to announced their NOVA series smartphone at the launch event.
The Chinese Analyst Pan Jiutang also confirms the NOVA series launch based on the teaser above. As per the analyst, Huawei Nova may be second generation or some variant of Honor 8 smartphone.
At the moment we have no information about the hardware specifications of this smartphone including the Display, Processor, RAM, Camera, Battery etc., except one leaked image of the device showing one of the sides of the smartphone. The image it revealed side portion with big Volume rocker button along with metallic build, gold color with chamfered top & bottom sides.
