Oppo is scheduled to announce Oppo R9S on October 19 during an event in Shanghai World Expo China. Oppo has been teasing the R9S smartphone in last few weeks and is emphasising on two core aspects for this new smartphone i.e. the cameras and the Super VOOC charging technology that comes with the smartphone. Even though we have already seen leaks which suggest that the company is set to announce Oppo R9S and R9S plus smartphones, the company is yet to confirm the same.
Today a new teaser released the official weibo handle of Oppo confirms one core aspect of the new smartphone i.e. R9S comes with 16 MP camera for both front and rear. A 16 MP front camera will make selfie lover young generation tempted to grab it. The company has already confirmed the camera sensors are the new Sony IMX398 sensors and come with dual core focus and F1.7 aperture.
Even though the company is yet to make any announcement about the Oppo R9S plus, leaked specifications suggests that it comes with a bigger battery of 4000 mAh instead of 3010 mAh, a better CPU i.e SD 653, bigger RAM i.e. 6 GB of RAM instead of 4 GB RAM and a bigger display of 6 inch instead of 5.5 inch as in Oppo R9S.
