Just two days back, we reported that Vivo may be launching a new smartphone Vivo X9 on November 17. Earlier leak suggested that this new smartphone will also ride on the dual camera bandwagon by offering dual rear camera just like many other smartphones launched in last few weeks. Now a new rumor suggests that Vivo plans to go one step ahead by offering dual front cameras along with main rear dual camera setup.
The same rumor also indicate that a 6 GB RAM variant of Vivo X9 may be in the works in addition to 4 GB RAM variant and may be launched on Nov 17. As per leaks and rumors, the device is powered by recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor, with 4 GB / 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
The rear cameras on the Vivo X9 feature Sony Exmor IMX 260 lens, the same Dual Pixel lens used in the Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, S7 Active and discontinued Note 7. At the moment we do not have any information about the display or the front camera sensors or the battery capacity of the device.
As this is just a rumor spotted on weibo, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
