Huawei announced Huawei P9 smartphone in April this year and hence we are still at least 5 months away from official launch of Huawei P10.Yet, that doesn’t stop rumor mills to start churning and today we have a set of two images of alleged Huawei P10 Prototype that surface online on Chinese social network Weibo.
The leaked images show the front display in powered on condition and the back panel of the device. The images seems to be of a prototype only as it doesn’t come with Huawei branding, but a generic “Mobile Phone” at the bottom of back panel and “Dreams” with a bear icon in the middle. “DREAMS” seem to be a code name perhaps for the device, but we are not so sure.
We can see a dual camera module with LED flash and laser focus, but no LEICA branding, instead HANZO appears written on top of back panel. We are not sure though what it means. Huawei seems to have moved the fingerprint sensor to the front home button instead of from the back.
The leakster also suggests that it may be powered by Kirin 960 processor with two variants of 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM and a 6 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM. It may include Lycra dual camera.
Huawei P9 sports 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display, powered by HiSilicon Kirin 955 processor along with 4 GB of RAM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system. It comes with a 12 MP dual camera setup with f/2.2, 27 mm, Leica optics, PDAF, dual-LED (dual tone) flash and a 8 MP front shooter. It is backed by a battery of 3,00 mAh.
As with any leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Even if you consider it as true, yet Prototype is far from the production stage and anything can change till it reaches the final stage. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
