Few months back, we reported a leak suggesting Oppo Find 9 flagship smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 along with 8 GB of RAM & 128 GB of internal storage. We have also seen alleged Find 9 render that got leaked later on.
Rumors till date indicate that Oppo Find 9 sports 5.5 inch QHD AMOLED display with dual edge powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 along with 8 GB of RAM & 128 GB of internal storage running Color OS 3.0. In terms of camera, it comes with a 21 MP rear camera & 16 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by battery of 4100 mAh capacity with super VOOC charging and comes with USB C type port.
Today a new rumor (1, 2) originating on Weibo suggests that Oppo is planning to bypass Snapdragon 821 for Find 9 and switch directly to the upcoming Snapdragon 835 for this upcoming flagship which means that Find 9 may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and not snapdragon 821 as earlier leaks suggested. The rumor also indicate that the upcoming flagship may be launched in March 2017 which is still more than three months away.
Its predecessor Find 7 sports a 5.5 inch Quad HD display, powered by 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC processor with 3 GB of RAm and 32 GB of internal storage. It comes with 13 MP main rear camera with Sony Exmor IMX214 sensor, LED flash and 5 MP front shooter for selfies. The device is backed by a 3000 mAh battery and can charge up to 75 percent in 30-minutes of charging using Rapid Charge technology.
