Xiaomi announced Redmi Note 4 few months back in China. It appears that Xiaomi is already working on an upgrade to the popular phablet and we have a new leak which points out that the new upgraded device may be named as Redmi Note 4X. The leak originates on Weibo in the form of “About Phone” screenshot of the alleged Note 4X which reveals some of the basic technical specifications of the device.
As per the leaked image, Redmi Note 4X is powered by a octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz which may be Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 along with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage and runs on MIUI 8.1 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. The screenshot doesn’t reveal any details on the screen / display size, Camera setup or the battery capacity.
Existing Redmi Note 4 comes with 5.5 full HD display, powered by Mediatek Helio X20 processor along with 2 GB / 3 GB of RAM. In terms of camera, it comes with 13 MP main rear camera with PDAF and is backed by a 4100 mAh battery and Fingerprint Scanner.
