Just last month, Vivo launched their selfie smartphone Vivo V5 which comes with 20 MP front camera with moonlight flash and 4 GB of RAM for a price of Rs. 17,980. During the V5 launch itself, company said that they plan to launch Vivo V5 Plus soon in India. Today we have an official confirmation of Vivo V5 Plus launch and it will be launched in India on January 23rd, 2017. The company has started to send Media Invites for the launch event and we will be covering the launch as & when it happens.
The company has already confirmed in their last launch event that Vivo V5 Plus comes with Dual front camera setup and claims it to be the world’s first smartphone with Dual front camera. Apart from the Dual front camera, we do not have any other details on technical specifications of this upcoming device, but considering that it is the “Plus” variant of Vivo V5, we can expect a similar technical specifications with some upgrade of Display, RAM and storage apart from the dual front camera.
The standard existing Vivo V5 features a 5.5 inch 720p HD display, powered by Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor along with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It runs on Funtouch OS 2.6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It comes with a 13 MP main rear camera with LED flash with PDAF and 20 MP front shooter with moonlight flash. It is backed by 3,000 mAh battery.
