Coolpad India had launched Coolpad Note 5 almost six month back (Read Review) for a price of Rs. 10,999. The company has now come with a compact variant of Note 5 along with a slight downgrade in terms of hardware under the name of Coolpad Note 5 Lite. Note 5 Lite is priced at Rs. 8,199 and will be available exclusively via Amazon India.
Note 5 Lite sports a 5 inch 720p HD display along with 2.5D curved glass display, powered by 1.0 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6735CP processor & Mali T720 GPU along with 3 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) based operating system with Coolpad Cool UI on top. In terms of camera, it features 13 MP main rear camera with LED flash and another 8 MP front shooter for selfies.
It comes with a metal unibody design and looks almost same as that of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. It includes a fingerprint sensor on the back panel which can unlock the phone in 0.1 seconds. The phone include dual SIM support and is backed by a 2500mAh battery with a standby time of up to 200 hours. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of dimension, it measures 145.3 x 72.3 x 8.7 mm and weighs just 148 grams.
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite comes in Gold & Grey color options and will be available exclusively from Amazon.in via open sale from March 21.
